lock-in on friday will be so awesome...even more awesome is that i don't have to play at a football game and that i don't have a cross country meet on saturday (it's on friday)...will be totally awesome. hey, everyone comment on this: what has God done for you lately? i'll post my own later...

you know what? i seriously want a new life...

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (galations 2:19-20)

i seriously want this new life. i don't care what's in my way...i think that if you step back and watch everything around you, you see God completely working everywhere. He's everywhere. and you know that it's Him...it's like Romans 1:16-17: "...the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith..." you just know it's Him...how did He change my life? well, He saved me...meaning He gave me hope. i'm no longer dead, but alive in Him. I find life in Him...that's what He did. i hit some huge lows last year that i will never hit again because I have hope in Him. He gave me a youth group that isn't afraid to get intimate and close, He gave me a family that molded me to follow You. and He found me when I refused Him. He gave me a best friend, He gave me a youth pastor, He gave me a sister who couldn't be more awesome or alive, He gave me another best friend, and He gave me more than you will ever know and more than I will ever merely understand. and He keeps giving...and He will forever. He gave me everything I have and then some...and I will never be able to pay Him back, but I'll give Him as much as I can...here's a bunch of stuff I got from the Praise and worship session from this morning, which must have been planned, because it, too, couldn't have been more perfect:

i want that life. i want that intimacy...i want that life. what has God done for me? He's done everything. even when i was blind to it, even when i wouldn't listen, and when i foolishly fought back. what has He done for me? it's simply everything. everything i know...that's what God has done for me. i want a new life...i want a revolution. i want to burn for Him, i want to give my life. let nothing stand in my path...let no temptation, no doubt...i will pursue this life. wake up on tuesday and tell all your friends at school. I'm a Christian. no matter what. i'm living my life for my God and nothing can stop me...seriously, tell all your friends. you can invite them to the lock-in. tell all your friends that I'm a Christian...and then when i walk down the hall, make sure i'm doing my part, either by an encouraging or discouraging word. either way, i'm still going for it, and i'm only going to get stronger in my faith. this is life...
